Frequently Asked Questions

Here are my answers to the questions I'm most often asked by people wishing to 1) purchase sheet music, 2) sign up for trumpet/music lessons, 3) commission a piece for their band/orchestra, or 4) hire me to score a film. How do I go about purchasing sheet music?

It's easy! Simply add the piece or pieces you want to your cart. Once you're ready, begin the checkout process.

Can I purchase multiple items at once?

 

Yes. You are able to add multiple items to cart before you go to complete your purchase.

#3.

What does my purchase get me? When will I receive my product?

 

Most compositions listed on this site have a PDF version and a print version. For both the PDF and print versions, you will receive:

  • The score

  • A single copy of all parts

As soon as an online payment (e.g. credit card or PayPal payment) is received, you will receive a confirmation email with a download link. The link also appears on the Thank You page. Please note that this link is only good for 30 days after purchase.

Print versions are made-to-order. The score will be printed on 11 x 17 67 lb. white paper and will have a black coil bind. The parts themselves will be printed in booklet form on 8.5 x 11 67 lb. white paper. These materials will be sent to the shipping address specified at checkout. Because the prints are custom, it may take some time to print and ship. On average, you can expect to receive your materials within 2-4 weeks of purchase. Shipments may arrive outside this window in either direction.

For US customers, all prices include shipping and handling. For international customers, additional shipping fees may apply.

Can I purchase individual parts?

 

Currently, you are only able to purchase a full score (with parts) or a conductor's score only. The option to purchase individual parts through the store is not yet available. If you are in need of replacement parts, send me a message through the Contact Form.

Can I pay by debit/credit card?

 

Yes! When you click on the "Buy Now" button, you are given the option to pay with PayPal OR debit/credit card. The choice is yours!

#6.

Can I get a refund or return items?

 

You may receive a refund before a physical order is fulfilled. Returns will only be permitted in the event you receive an incorrect product. For digital downloads, no refunds/returns will be processed.

You teach music lessons. Where can I sign up for some?

 

I provide lessons in person and online, payable on a weekly or monthly basis. Send me a message via my contact form to start discussing options. People under 18 should get a parent/guardian's permission before signing up for lessons.

Lessons run $35/hr. PLEASE NOTE: I am no longer accepting new students at this time.

How do I commission a piece for my band/orchestra?

 

Simply send me a message through my Contact form.  Please provide me with alternative means of contacting you, as email is not always reliable, and (if you're a elementary/high school band director) school emails can sometimes be very temperamental with outside correspondence.

I'm a film director in need of a music score. How do I get in touch?

Contact me via my Contact form. If you're just looking for stock music, I have a wide selection of stock music available (upon request).

#10.

I have a YouTube channel, and I'm looking for new music.  How much will that cost me?

 

Currently, due to my schedule, I'm unable to complete YouTube intro/outro music at this time. If, however, you are an independent filmmaker looking for me to score your project, please reach out through my Contact Form.

My question isn't answered here. What do I do?
